Britney Spears Remix Song History

After Britney's debut album, "...Baby One More Time," made an international star out of her, she continued to release album after album, including her second successful studio album "Oops!...I Did It Again" in 2000.
A third, "Britney," followed in 2001 and "In The Zone" in 2003, from which she won her the first Grammy Award for the breakout single, "Toxic." She took a break and released "Blackout" in 2007.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America, she is ranked as the eighth best-selling female artist in American music history, selling over 83 million records worldwide and 31 million albums in the US.
Not content to rest on her laurels, Britney branched out into film and television, including a starring roll in the movie "Crossroads" (2002) and guest appearances on television programs.
In 2002, Forbes Magazine ranked her as the world's most powerful celebrity. She was 21 at the time. That same year, her performances began to get edgy. In her third consecutive performance at MTV Video Music Awards, she used caged animals in her performance of "I'm a Slave 4 U" and danced erotically with a large albino python draped over shoulders. That episode got plans for an anti-fur campaign that was to feature her cancelled by PETA, who claimed the animals used in her performance were mistreated.
During a performance at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards, Britney appeared with Christina Aguilera, performing the song, "Like a Virgin." Madonna later joined her and Britney locked lips with Madonna in a highly publicized kiss that rocked her fans.
In November 2003, "In The Zone," her fourth studio album, was released. She had a hand in do-writing eight of the album's thirteen songs. "In The Zone" reached number one on the U.S. charts during its debut week, which made Britney the only female in history to have her first four studio albums debut at number one (source: Wikipedia).
While her star seemed to be rising to new heights every half hour, the critics began to criticize her every move. Stylus Magazine panned the album, stating, "Ultimately, "In The Zone" suffers greatly from Britney's uneasy transition from teen tart to sexually powerful woman..." Another quote from Stylus Magazine included this snippet, where they say that she was "...mercilessly prostituted by her management..."
In 2004, the Onyx Hotel Tour started to promote the album with a tour. The tour's choreography caused much controversy and criticism because of her dedicated fans, young children in the audience.
In the next 3 years she won almost every award to be had, but her performances continued to get panned by the critics. Britney's performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards was described as a disappointing attempt at a comeback (source: Wikipedia). When she performed "Gimmee More," the BBC stated that "her performance would go down in the history books as being one of the worst to grace the MTV Awards.
Britney Spears was born on the 2nd of December in Mississippi USA. She reached fame after starting her career as one of the child actors in the Mickey Mouse Club (with Justin Timberlake) and has reached the top of the worldwide music charts numerous times. With sales of over 75 million records all over the world she is the eight best selling singer in American history with sales of over 30 million albums in the USA alone.
Britney's career in music started with hits such as "...Baby One More Time", and songs like "Oops!... I Did It Again" and the more mature "I'm a Slave 4 U". She has won a Grammy award and her latest album is supposed to be released in the USA in November 2007.
Britney Spears is reportedly worth over $150,000,000. She makes much of this money from her music career, such as album sales, as well as endorsements, movies, and tv shows.
Britney married a dancer called Kevin Federline. This second marriage produced two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. During the marriage she put her singing on hold and eventually the marriage resulted in a divorce in 2007. The marriage was riddled with drug and alcohol abuse by Federline (according to Spears) and Kevin was seen out and about in town nearly every single night during the last months of the marriage.
After the divorce it was reported that Britney would pay Kevin a whopping $19 million - but this soon proved to be a bit too good to be true for Federline. He only ended up walking away from the deal with $1 million - less than %1 of what Britney Spears is worth.
Currently Britney is enjoying a lot of press but not for a good reason. After the marriage she experienced a public meltdown of her profile. During the divorce proceedings she was seen drunk and possibly under the influence of drugs and going out with friend Paris Hilton. It appeared that she was not spending any time with her kids and this led to a public questioning of her parenting skills.
During her last public performance as a singer at the VMA Awards in 2007 Britney seemed incoherent. She stumbled across the stage and did not bother with any of the dance moves that she had been studying for a week. According to many music industry professionals this may haven been the final blow to her music career.
