Country and Pop Music superstar Shania Twain has released a greatest hits CD appropriately titled Shania Twain Greatest Hits.

The reclusive Twain has sold more than 40 million albums over the years with-flirty, hook laden, beat-heavy, country-tinged pop tracks that have all the subtlety of a musical wet T-shirt contest.

She is one of the most successful recording artists in history. Her CD Come On Over is the biggest selling album of all time by a female artist, making it the female equivalent of Michael Jackson's Thriller.

This long awaited and much anticipated Greatest Hits collection includes three new songs along with the predictable chart topping hits she's had. Most of the songs are up tempo groovable tunes which is exactly what Shania Twain fans will enjoy and appreciate.

19 out of the 21 songs on this CD are pure gold, and they are so varied in style that there is a song for every music fan.

The CD launches with the classic ballad, Forever and For Always then goes on to showcase the very impressive list of gold records Twain has had over the years. Containing a whopping 21 songs in all.

Impressively Twain writes all of her own songs and melodies on guitar and of course does a great job singing them as well.

Some of my own Shania Twain favorites are track 1, Forever and For Always, track 2 I'm Gonna Getcha Good, track 5, Man! I Feel Like A Woman! and on, and on, and on. Heck they're all good!

When I listen to Shania Twain, I cannot help knowing with all my heart that she is happy. She is doing what she loves to do. She has broken all kinds of barriers in the music industry, barriers that have held people back from being all that they can be. For example, in the music industry there had been an unspoken rule that one cannot cross music genres, meaning if one calls oneself a country singer, then one is not a rock and roll singer.

What I notice about Shania Twain is that she follows what feels good to her and makes her happy. In a recent interview I heard with her, she talks about how she has been criticized for crossing genres and other things and what she states is that she follows what feels right for her. She does those things make her happy. She says that she hopes others will view it favorably but that is not her criteria. Her happiness and following her instincts is her priority, this is her guide. Her own inner happiness is her guide.

Shania Twain has created hit songs such as "Shania Twain: Forever and Always"; Shania Twain: Any Man of Mine; Shania Twain: I'm Gonna Getcha"; Shania Twain: That Don't Impress Me Much; Shania Twain: Man I Feel Like a Woman. Each of these songs has a beat and rhythm that makes it almost impossible to not sing along with. The lyrics are magical and fun. And when Shania accompanies these songs with videos as well, it becomes a show that inspires and uplifts you.

Shania Twain has become friends with some of the most interesting musicians around like Willy Nelson, Dolly Parton, Sugarland; country singers and rock and roll singers alike.

Now in this same interview, she expressed feeling bad by some of the criticism and what I took from this, is that she is still hanging on to the idea that somehow pleasing others is also her role. In hearing her, I think that it is important to get to the place that "one does not give a rip" what others think, that one is devoted to ones own happiness. If it makes you feel happy then this is "Source" or "God" or the "Universe" or whatever one wants to call it, that is calling us forth into an expansion of ourselves.

If we do not act on this calling, we agree to become less than who we are meant to become. We were born to expand and evolve and Shania Twain has accepted her calling to expand and evolve. She acts from inspiration and when one listens to her, you know she is source energy in physical form. She is strikingly beautiful and she highlights her beauty in her videos. If we listen to this calling, then we will be called further than we could ever imagine, doing things we never thought possible. It is this "source energy that says "go here,""do this,"" sing this song" or "here are the words to this song" and on and on.

We are indeed blessed to have a model like Shania Twain, she shows us how to become more than we are, by her example. Her videos are filled with color and vibrancy, with fun and laughter, with talent and fashion, with movement and dance. She uplifts us through her music and her videos. Thank you, Shania Twain.
